A special episode from the world of music. With Layth Sidiq, an award-winning violinist, composer and the first Arab to win a second place as a violinist in the international contest SEIFERT JAZZ VIOLIN COMPETITION 2018 and is one of the most skilled violinists in the world.

This award-winning violinist works hard to make a real difference in the artistic world by taking no shortcuts in his journey. Committed artists always work hard to fine-tune their skills, and Layth has dedicated his life to the process of understanding his profession in both theory and practice.
A Jordanian with Iraqi roots born out of a musical family, he always knew that he wanted to be an educated musician in order to be prepared for the harsh realities of his profession. He went to Berklee College of Music in Boston on a full scholarship and got his master’s degree at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. This prestigious education has given him the opportunity to work and collaborate with world-renowned artists.
His violin skills are artistically are only matched by his outstanding talent as a vocalist. He is currently directing both the Arab Music Ensemble at Tufts University and the Center for Arabic Culture’s Youth Orchestra Program in Boston.
